The World of Decór
The World of Decór is a strange yet marvellous place; every square inch of this world is filled with perfection. The way the world is structured is very similar to our own world; There are large and small islands, an ocean and a whether system. Vegetation fills the lands with massive tropical rainforests, filled with exotic waterfalls and crystal clear lakes. Deserts also take up a huge slice of the land, they also feature the ‘Spikes’, these were created many years ago, when the world was first created in fact. No one knows why they were placed there, and whether they have any meaning.
There are two dominant species in Décor, The Purus and The Hoarders. The two species both follow the same gods, these gods communicate to the world through the trees. On every ‘Alter’ there is a tree. This is considered to be the gods spirit. There are 4 Gods altogether the god of the sky, the god of the water, the god of the fire and the god of the earth. If there is a drought they will prey to the water god, if there is a long winter they will prey to the god of fire and so on.

The Prolix Path
A road which goes around the whole world, it even leads underwater/ in the ocean and onto the next island.
This road will also lead you to all the god alters, it will also lead you to the 9 Ver Sonde’s.
The Gods
The gods are said to be the world’s creators, once they built the world, their souls transformed into the 4 trees.
Each god has a recognisable symbol, and they all relate to creatures:

The water god created the ocean, the weather system and the rivers; this god is a vital part of life nowadays as the decade Lelik is living in has had a drought for many years.
Though there are some areas which get a good dosage of rain and these areas are the most beautiful landscapes in Décor.
The reason for the drought is that the water god is starting to wilt. As of today know one knows why this is happening.
SPECIES
Lelik
(Pronounced: Lee-lick)
Lelik’s mother was pregnant during the pilgrimage to the God of Water, while on the journey she unfortunately gave birth. The child (Lelik) was born prematurely, shortly after giving birth Lelik’s mother dies, a few hours later a group of Purus approach the corpse and the baby, the Purus first believe it to be a gift from the Gods, but shortly after getting closer they realise that the baby is deformed. The leader demands that the baby should be taken to a Ver Sonde as soon as possible. Leliks mother’s corpse was said to have been burned and reburned until there was no more.
Lelik’s everyday life is one of struggle. He has trouble making friends and has very little things to do, He does have one friend though, A flower, this flower has been through everything with him, through his life the flower has never wilted and never died. The amount of care Lelik goes through to look after this ‘being’ is incredible, Lelik has a set time of when the flower needs watering, the flower is positioned close to the window to get enough light and so it can view the amazing landscapes. Though this friendship is not set to last long…
Lelik has many deformities, such as his pincer hands, this features comes in handy for creating meals, but it can also be the most annoying feature, the simple action of picking up a bag, turns out to be the most frustrating action.
The Purus
(Pronounced: Pure-russ)
The Purus are the main rulers of this world, they live in small towns and villages where the population has managed to triple in just 2 years.
The Purus’ are also heavily addicted to their religion. They believe that to live in a pure world with no evil everything must be perfect. This means if anything is bought into the world and is imperfect it will be dealt with. If a species is born and is deformed or different they will be taken to a prison high in the sky, these areas are called ‘Ver Sonde’s’ (Sin Away). So far there are 17 of these in total.
These instructions are followed from the inscription (symbols) which were written many years ago.
Though the Purus believe that they have followed the right instruction from their gods they are much further from the truth...
The Hoarders
Hoarder’s are the second largest species in Decór, they are the outsiders. They live in the deserted areas; most of this species will live in Corpses or anything which is big. Hoarders are collectors; they respect their world and collect pieces of it as memorabilia. Much like a Gipsy they stay together and use the most out of the world they live in. It is easy to spot a Hoarder by the amount of items they carry on their backs, towering at almost 3 times their size. Hoarders will carry/collect anything; Rocks, Leaves Corpses, Skeletons, and Dirt etc.

Quite a rare species found in dense forests and jungles, people mistake them for leaves. There are also many different sizes of this creature ranging from the height of 10cm to 20cm.

These creatures are considered to be the most useless and ugliest flying creatures ever created. They look a lot like a crane fly (or ‘Daddy Longlegs’), they fly aimlessly, but when on foot they can walk exactly like a spider, but at a really fast pace.

Quite a rare species which is mainly found around any swamp or marsh, these creatures are seriously dirty and smell horrible. Yaronervil build webs which are the same consistency as tar, a very sticky substance which can trap any of its prey. They will also crawl inside large animals and eat them from inside out.

Blouklein’s are the second most common bird, the bird, said to have been placed by the Gods as a guardian to the world of Decór so people respect this creature. The only time you will see this creature is during the rise of the sun.

A small and ‘cute’ creature with the ability to fly, its features of a hamster, a mouse and a bird. Voelklein’s are considered to be a very rare species and can fly at a very high height. They live in the high-rise mountains.

They look the same as a normal bear but they feature gecko-like fur, which will change depending on their location.

Dóhoroen’s are a very rare and noble species, many adventurers have spotted this creature in the west of the Mountainous Lands, both the Purus and the Hoarders respect this creature, they believe Dóhoroen’s were the first ever creatures to be created on the world of Décor.

Grootaápvier’s are much heavier version of the Aápvier’s. They can’t jump as high, but where they lack in elasticity they gain in strength. Grootaápvier’s are also incredibly strong and can tear down a tree in one small swipe. These creatures live in the lower and denser areas of the forests.

A very tall creature and tallest land-animal in the world of Décor they are also very easy to spot. Its features are a mixture of Mammal and Reptile.

A longer version of a crocodile, they also spend more time on land than in water, another difference is that the legs are at a much higher height, which makes it easy for them to attack their prey. They can mainly be found near any lake or river, sometimes even, near the coast.

Murisol’s only live in dense jungles and forests. There is a breed of Murisol’s which have orange bodies and black, striped tales. These are very rare and have only been spotted once. It’s hard to tell where this species can be found.

A rare creature, and has only been spotted 6 times by adventurers. Not much is know about this creature. All that we do know is that it’s a large creature in terms of height and width; it also only features 5 legs.

About
The normal Zyrcuris are at a height of 4 metres and feature ten legs.
The Trees
The trees hold a special meaning to both the Hoarders and the Purus. Many years ago, when Décor was first built, the trees were the first life forms to be introduced. The Gods gave each tree an individual look, some trees became half species where they would need to hunt and feed on prey to gain energy. The first animal the Dóhoroen was a mixture of both tree and creature, the antlers would act as trees, always growing in spring and wilting in winter, you can still see those features today.
Ver Sonde
The Ver Sonde’s were created by the Purus as prisons for the imperfect creatures. These prisons would be built on high mountains, cliffs or mounds, the main reason for there location is so that the creatures would be as far away from the Purus as possible.

The Furniture
Every piece of furniture whether it be, tables, chairs, cabinets of bed, is all created with an organic look, much inspired by the formation of trees and their roots.
The Plant
Lelik’s first friend, this flower has been with Lelik since he was born, Lelik looks after this flower as if it was a living creature, the age of the plant so far is 20 years.
